The Schapteau has been a family owned vacation home for over 20 years. Recently renovated in 2023, it has been updated to provide modern conveniences while keeping the character of yesteryear.

Welcome home to 207 Howard Street - The Schapteau in the heart of the Historic District in Cape May. Offering Seven bedrooms and three and a half bathrooms this home sleeps up thirteen people comfortably.
Why stay with us
The home is meticulously maintained and cared for. It is conveniently located 2 blocks from the beach and in walking distance to town. With on-site parking, once you get here, there is no reason to move your car. There are two porches to enjoy watching the horse and carriage rides while listening to the live music from the Chalfonte Hotel.
